OKLAHOMA AERONAUTICS COMMISSION APPROVES RENEWAL OF OAOA SUPPORT AND MEMBERSHIP

 OAOA President Jim Thrash was asked to make a brief presentation before the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission at their November monthly meeting to ask the OAC to renew their support and membership in OAOA. 

The meeting which was held at the Oklahoma Water Resources Board was conducted by Chairman Joe Harris.  Other Commissioners in attendance were Rick Armstrong, Dave Amis, and Kenneth Adams.

After Jim Thrash's presentation, Director Vic Bird and Airport Development Manager Dale Williams voiced their support of the renewal and the commission approved it at the Benefactor level.

 Among other attendees at the meeting, was former astronaut General Thomas P. Stafford.  He and the two directors of the Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford made a brief presentation before the OAC in regard to support for the museum.
