The October Quarterly General Membership Meeting will be held at the Clarence E. Page Building at Wiley Post Airport, 5810 Tulakes Avenue, Bethany, OK at 11:00 am on October 17, 2008.  Some of the high-lights for discussion will be the 2009 Conference, the January Quarterly Meeting, the suggested updates to the OAOA Constitution and By-Laws, and the Regional Map adjustments.  The agenda for the meeting is attached.

OAOA QUARTERLY MEETINGS

Get the best rate and selection of rooms for the 2009 OAOA Conference by booking early!  It's not too early to book your room at the Cimarron Hotel and Suites in Stillwater and take advantage of our special price of $99 per night.  This price is good until all rooms are booked or until March 25, 2009 - whichever comes first, so reserve your room now and adjust dates later, if needed.

OAOA has reserved virtually the entire hotel at this time which should afford a specal 'family' feeling. 

OAOA members did a great job working the OAOA booth at the Oklahoma Municipal League's conference in the Cox Center in Oklahoma City September 2-4.   This was a great opportunity to visit  with lots of city representatives from all over the state and tell them what OAOA can do for them as well as answer some technical questions for some of them.   Not only did these contacts offer assistance, they also encouraged new membership and some airport renewals with new airport managers.

Welcome to the new and improved OAOA web site.  I hope that you will make frequent visits for information on OAOA events as well as other news, etc.  Our Executive Director, Pam Lankford, and The Worx Company have been putting in many hours to make this a useful tool for you.  Visit often, and if you have any suggestions, let us know.
